       Born and raised at the foot of the Cascade mountains in Washington State, Peggy has resided in Alaska for the last 22 years. First going to the village of Dillingham  and 21 years in The Valley.

     Although perusing art most of her life, it has only been the last 13 years that she could continue taking workshops and college classes in order to become more serious with her passion for art.

     As an active member of both Valley Fine Arts Association and Gallery Gals in the Mat-Su Valley Alaska, Peggy has enjoyed participating with these groups. She has also achieved recognition in numerous shows, contests and art galleries such as:

               *  First place and best of show at Mat-Su College Spring Exhibit
              *  Blue and red ribbons at Alaska State Fair professional division
              *  Recognition of a National Award with VFAA crew, for an Alaska State Fair Art Mural.
              *  Awarded designer of coin design for the Alaska Coin Club commemorative coin  
              *  Contest winning awards at Madd Matters Art and Frame 
              *  Selected award winning display Alaska State Fair
              *  Selected art piece Mat-Su Regional Hospital  
              *  Mural artist for Alaska Comprehensive Dental Center 
              *  Selected winning entry Palmer "Veggies On Parade.
              *  Guest demo artist at the Alaska State Fair.  
              *  Winning designer of business display for the Palmer State Fair
              *  Guest demo artist at the Alaska State Fair
              *  Winner of the window mural of the Palmer Museum  
              *  Display artist at the palmer Museum as well as other numerous art related contributions.


While in Alaska, Peggy has illustrated 7 published books, and also has been an art instructor.
